Opening Ceremony
The Opening Ceremony of the FISU World University Championship Triathlon 2026 will take place on Friday evening, the 7th August 2026, at the Place des Marronniers in the heart of Nyon.
This official event will bring together athletes, officials, volunteers, and local residents in a festive atmosphere, marking the start of the Championship. Against the scenic backdrop of Nyon’s old town and Lake Geneva, the ceremony will feature speeches, cultural performances, and the official parade of nations
Award Ceremonies
The award ceremonies will be held after each competition, near the finish area.
Closing Ceremony & Closing Party
The closing ceremony will take place on Sunday evening at Rive, by Lake Geneva. This central and accessible location in Nyon reflects the spirit of the event and will offer participants a warm and pleasant atmosphere to conclude the weekend of competition.
Participants will share a meal together and enjoy an evening of celebration, marking the end of the FISU World University Championship Triathlon 2026 in true Nyon spirit
